As the Marketing Specialist, I support the healthy development and growth of The Counseling Hub. My primary goal is to ensure that our counseling services are accessible to as many people as possible. I strive to empower you through education and access to inspiring, insightful, and affirming resources for personal growth. I safeguard The Counseling Hub’s core values and vision, while cultivating an open mind and heart for change and innovation.

Reach out to me if you...

  • want to know more about our core values and focus;

  • want to collaborate on events and content creation;

  • are seeking information on us and our work in the form of brochures, flyers, and other digital and print graphics;

  • want to share about The Counseling Hub in your community, newspaper, magazine, podcast, TV or radio program;

  • have questions or comments regarding our website and social media content;

  • want to understand how The Counseling Hub can serve you and your needs;

  • are interested in networking and collaboration.

More often than not, folks still feel some sort of shame in reaching out. One of the reasons Tara founded The Counseling Hub was to diminish that sense of shame, to normalize the fact that all people struggle in some way during their lives, and to empower people to grow and heal in their own unique way.

The Counseling Hub is all about connecting, growing, and healing.

To commit to therapy means to go on a deep and rewarding journey within, to take ownership of one’s life and actions, and to become a more authentic version of oneself. It takes courage to be honest with oneself and others, and determination to make intentional changes. I’m here to support you, to show you that you can do it, and that it’s worth it! Being both a Marketing Specialist and an Art Therapist, and having had many years of therapy myself–including individual, group, and couple’s counseling–I’m your expert at presenting information as clearly, transparently, and engaging as possible.

Five Fun Facts About Sarah

  1. I’m in love with Argentine Tango.
    That love started way before I was born; it was already alive in my Chilean grandmother who lived in Buenos Aires in the 1940s! When I listen and dance to these old tunes, I feel intimately connected to my lineage, myself, and my dance partner in the here and now. I enjoy the energy of the embrace, music, and community, and love to engage in fleetingly unique, joyful, and deeply felt dances.

  2. I’m a sky gazer.
    My day starts with opening wide my curtains and windows and letting the colors of the sky inform my mood and sense for the day. Driving my daughter to school, I enjoy the morning sun and let its expansive rays penetrate my car and senses. I often comment on the ever-changing cloud formations and the beauty they emanate. It makes me very happy to be able to share these moments with my daughter and that we both have eyes and hearts that appreciate this everyday miracle.

  3. I love all things woo-woo.
    I meditate, use oracle cards, and an app to track the current planetary transits and how they affect my birth chart and life. Though I’m a devoted fan of the evidence-based modalities of counseling therapy and meditation, I also believe in the healing power of sound baths, reiki, and intuition!

  4. I have a soft spot for French chansons.
    I don’t think it could have been any different growing up with a French mother and a nostalgic and poetic vein. Though I listen to a range of music, this genre has stayed with me since childhood, and I don’t think it will ever leave.

  5. I “need” my afternoon tea.
    That tradition must have started in childhood when I was given a pain au chocolat or chausson aux pommes for “goûter,” the French after-school snack. I also picked up my love for black tea from my mother. When I lived in London with my then-husband and two step-children, we shared a daily afternoon tea around 4 p.m., including cookies–locally called biscuits, I believe. I now continue this tradition with my daughter, and have Earl Grey with milk for breakfast, too.
